Bardlover: It has a lot to do with the join date. If a person's join date >= the date MQ info was posted on RPGExperts - They better have flame retardant underwear or be in the VIP forums. The MQ crowd is elitist. With ShowEQ, you had to have a bit of knowledge to set up a unix system, get your libr...

Jerle69: Yeh, saw that after I started checking it out. Only wrote it out on paper, handn't really attempted running it. Imo roguehelper is probably the best pre-packaged solution for any type of dps class, but it looks fishy if a zerker, bl, monk, etc is always dead on behind a mob. Didn't know the...

IMO the Check_Behind sub looks too rigid. I haven't tried it but Edit - Did that wrong; will update. Should teach me not to post crap at 3am without testing. would seem a bit more natural by giving a 4 hour window of opportunity behind the victim instead of dead frigging on all the time. *I do not k...

Just sent in a donation. Been around for years, y'all do a great job & I wouldn't play EQ without you.

Peace.

Strangely enough, this isn't in the readme. I can't even tell you to RTFM. Anyway - Unless you changed MacroQuest.ini, macros should go in the Macros subdirectory of wherever you put the Release dir/compiled binaries dir. You start them by typing "/macro thisismymacro" and end them b...

Erm... Don't just run anything someone gives you, especially some of these weirdos. Might turn your PC into a toaster.

You'd also not use it just once. The devs have been going nuts lately adding new features, you'll prolly use it once a week.

No, the usage would be to clean up some of my leashing macros while waiting for the puller to drag something back (ie, wait for puller to call move up or stay put for inc). In pseudocode I'd like to move from: :top target master if master distance > 20 then call move routines else assist puller if t...

Semi-related: Is there any way to get the NPC/PC struct for a non-targetted item? Would occasionally be nice to check $target(distance) of objects not targetted. Guessing it'd have to be done by ID, which would be fine.

Don't have a bard to check with, but just from reading it - it appears to be Working As Intended[tm]. I'm guessing DKAA might be tagging his mobs with autorun on & then firing the macro. You may want to put in a "/sendkey down up" in there for testing this while standing still - but I ...

Still see macros with this occasionally; does it still serve any purpose?

Any more details on guidelines for use if it is still useful?
