thats the plus about being on a pvp server...If I see some one (in range) afk macroing in any pvp zone their ass is gonna get rooted/snared/nuked/dotted to death. Hopefully I can get him/her exp killed though. afk macroing is stupid as hell, unless to the ever-so loving begging macro
I love the Power Glove, it's so bad

I think I tried everything. I sent tells to her, of course no anwers. I have even tried to contact a friend of mine that is in the same guild of her but the bard is in the same spot doing the same circle.
What should I do now? Do I have to post her name here? I dont fell very well posting a name of char in this forum but I have no more ideas how to make her stop or at least move to a lesser visible spot. Damn, if only she move to one of the basement instead. She is in a spot everybodies that zone in HoH can see her, on the route to reach hero camp.

There's a good chance that this person doesn't even read the forums. I'm guessing that a good portion of the MQ population only check the site when there's a patch. Then there's the segment of the population that don't even do that (people who have MQ compiled for them). Posting their name on here wouldn't be the way to constructively take care of her. However, if you want to get her banned, I assume that a GM or two browses these boards... posting her name may be successful in that... but my guess is that if she hasn't figured out you're talking about her yet, she's probably not reading the forums.

I wouldn't be so bothered by it myself, except that Falcon has tried repeatedly to communicate with this bard and gets no response and even going to her guild via friends elicits nothing.

Name her.

at least you are being nicer than the person that petitioned me.

fucker must have petitioned my 20 times and within like 2 days and a GM finally came to have a "talk" with me.

oh well, need to see what happens and will let you all know. They do crack down on bards if they get enough petitions.

I am sure you are not the only one who has seen this bard and knows what she is doing. I am sure GMs have been petitioned but unless it was ALOT they are not going to do anything about it.

Using a program such as this doesn't bother me.

Pharming with it does.

They should have done like Falcon and tried to communicate, the fact that they didn't, if that is the case, is just... bullshit.

This bard in question though has been given days worth of attempts, but still continues on, never replies... heck it sounds like the bard is being AFK run for the week at least, if not longer, with no user intervention. That is just too much to allow.

Again, in this case, name her.

Its unfortunate that someone would macro in a populated area like that. I can understand when someone doesnt want to click 4000 to get a skill point so they macro but someone turning on auto kite is to much. Post name server and last time seen and let the community deal with her. Hopefully she will be banned for stupidity

<--- i agree. people who abuse this program shouldn't be given tolerance. as any of us can vouche for, using it to enhance the play and make simple tasks easier should be allowed, but abusing the system to be the best they can be shouldn't be allowed.

names help in situation like this. ESPECIALLY how long they have had to try to deal with the situation.

i wouldn't feel bad after posting a name this far along in the process.

Just pull half a dozen mobs onto her and gate.

have to be grouped for spirit of scale, and I don't believe the sow line overwrites Selo's. I could be wrong on that though. It's been a while since I last checked.

SoW will stick but selos will override.

Alot of bards use twisting and circle for doing exp, hell I do. But I never leave it running when I can not directly see the screen. Granted I do not kite in a very public zone, yea see like 1-2 people a day checking on spawns. Anyway, its stupid people like this who get crap nerfed on us. Post the idiots name or just train the shit out of her untill she gets the idea. Drop a summoning mob on her ass and see if she has accounted for that. The ghosty armor dudes often summon btw.

As do the lvl 65 lieutenants and stuff that roam the halls. Using a bard or rogue, pull one using aggro range or zero-damage and fade/escape it off. Lather, rinse, repeat as often as necessary to get this nitwit out of the zone, if not out of the game.
Repeated /report and /petition may get something done about it as well. Hell, send a direct tell to anyone who shows up in /eho all GM. And post their name/server to the eqlive, rpgexpert, eqdiva, mq, xylobot, safehouse, eqtraders boards... That should make their game play much more exciting.
This is all appropriate for AFK macroers, imo. I run a similar routine for grinding AAs when I don't have a group, but it's always attended, I answer every camp check and tell immediately, and I send tells to anyone who pops into the room while I'm kiting, just to show I'm there and aware. I got trained once by some dumb bard who tried to clear me out of a spot, but my loose mobs aggrod him and pounded him to pulp, and I killed off his train. The whole time I berated him and told him to get his stinking corpse out of the room I was hunting in.
No AFK macroing. Dammit.
