question?

Post by booger » Sat Nov 22, 2003 3:15 pm

I get "Couldn't open included file: C:\MQ\Macros\TradeSkills.inc"

Have I put this file in the wrong place, made the wrong type file, or missnamed it, or since I have little to no clue about this did I just screw it up beyond all belief and should start looking for a tall building to jump off to increase the IQ of the general population :D

I put "khiTS" in a MacroQuest Macro file in my macros folder. I then Put "TradeSkills.inc" in a MacroQuest file in the macros(this is where I think I screwed up). Finally I put all the "recipes.ini" in a MacroQuest Macro in my ini file.

I assume I either put the "TradeSkills.inc" in the wrong spot or in the wrong file. I apologize if this seems like a 3rd grade question and apreciate any help or hints.

Hmm I still get "Couldn't open include file:C:\MQ\Macros\TradeSkills.inc". I made "tradeskills.inc" a MacroQuest Macro file in my macros directory (c:\MQ\macros\). Is the file suposed to be a MacroQuest file or something else the error is "open" not find so I assume its finding the file and unable to use it?

thanks for the fast response

I'm using the version from Nov 11 03. All my files have the right extensions now :oops: I now get a "couldn't parse '//TODO:add macro here' error. :?

btw thank you for being more than patient...

Love this macro to death.

Picked up 200 smithing today making Enchanted Velium Bits.

Assuming you already have CVT and know where to get the spell, the following will smith any blocks/bricks of velium into small pieces:

Code: Select all

[sv3]
cont=enviro
comp0=smithing chisel
comp1=small brick of velium

[sv2]
cont=enviro
comp0=smithing chisel
comp1=large brick of velium

[sv1]
cont=enviro
comp0=smithing chisel
comp1=block of velium
Running them in order from 1-3 will start with blocks and go to small pieces.

Then for the actual combine:

Code: Select all

[evr]
cont=enviro
comp0=coldain velium temper
comp1=small piece of velium
comp2=small piece of velium
comp3=spell: enchant velium
Hope this helps anyone that can use it. 188-200 smithing took me about 2 hours and cost somewhere around 20kpp. Probably cheaper if you make the CVT yourself, and even cheaper still if you farm your own velium. Spell cost (unstackable, unfortunately) is about 12-13pp. Lore/nodrop, so there's no sellback profit.

another container problem..

getting the same container issue with either a Tackle Box, or Collapsible Tackle Box

[PrepFish]
Cont=#Fishing
Comp0=Fresh Fish
Comp1=Filleting Knife
Comp2=Celandine Herb
Comp3=Roots

tried #collaps #tackl Collapsible Tackle Box, Tackle Box

I am new to this MacroQuest. But I used to do some visual basic (censor: i'm an idiot; please ignore me) programming (don't flame, please) and I have moved onto C++ but I am still in the very early learning stages.

Anyways these macros look like a lot of fun to work on, so I am going to start doing my best to learn on them.

But could you do me one favor if you find the time? Could you possibly make a stoptriv paramter of some sort. Like /macro yourmacro MetalBits true to stop when it trivials?

Maybe it already exists in your macro but I cannot find it. I looked before asking.

Thanks
