Tried this... not working... using the bits option, not selecting any items... mouse is acting like it is placing items in the forge and is pressing the combine button on the forge

Ok, maybe I haven't figured it out...

Now I moved onto the Lantern option.. again the mouse isn't selecting items, but the macro is attempting to combine stuff...

What is the trick here?

My fletching kit is where? :) *n00b*
Kit in bottom right slot inventory..

close and open all containers.

start the macro and this is what happens:

- it takes 1 of each item, 4 of them.
- Puts them in Fletching Kit
- The mousepointer moves on down pass the Combine button
- Pass the Done button :?
- Stops at the "edge" of the Container windows and just tries to click, and just loops the clicking. The only thing that does is replacing my current Pointer with that "Move window cross".

Kaitain wrote:You cannot move your containers after you open them. If you move them, you need to open and close them again. This includes your inventory window.

What I usually do is open my inventory and ALL of my bags. Arrange them the way I want, then close everything (including inventory). I then reopen my inventory and all bags.

Finally I run my macro.

My girlfriend uses this macro to do fletching, so I know it works for it.

What's the specific name of your fletching kit?
All my containers are arranged.. i open and close them like 10 times including my Inv. Window.

Specific name? uhm... "Fletching Kit" is its name...
Everything works just fine, it takes 1 item, drops it in fletching kit, takes the next and so on.. But when it should press the Combine button, then it just pass by the buttons and stands below the Done button and tries to click on,, eeh, nothing? :)

When i check the macro code it will loop if it dont press the combine button.. and thats what it does.. it loops and clicks Below the Combine button on my Kit,, even below the Done button... it stands on that tine spot between the Done button and the border of the fletching kit window...

Its like it dont "find" the Combine button on the kit... but it works with the part of taking items and place it in the kit. that part works just fine... its the DoCombine part that dont work...

I Made my own recipe and it looks like this:

Code: Select all

[fletch]
Cont=Fletching Kit
Comp0=hooked arrowheads
Comp1=several round cut fletchings
Comp2=large groove nocks
Comp3=bundled wooden arrow shafts

P.S. Why don't you go ahead and create a user profile so you aren't a "guest?"

I would bet dollars to donuts that is the reason. From what I understand MQ knows the sizes and locations of the default windows, but doesn't know customized UI configurations. I would guess they can't read the locations of buttons, they had to hard code the locations.

Well you should, people are much more likely to help you if you establish an "identity." ;)

Not completely true. The click code works best with the default UI, but will support some custom UI's. It all depends on how well the XML file is formed. If the math in the XML file is screwey (all the X and Y and CX and CY coordinates don't add up to the correct window size, etc.) then you will get problems.

Since you don't stare at your bags that often, stick to the default EQUI_Containers.xml file and you won't have any problems. I mean seriously, why do you need to make your backpack pretty?

On the flip side, I can't get this to work either. Using a collapsible fletching kit, it won't find the container, slot 7 or not.

Code: Select all

[arrow122]
Cont=Collapsible Fletching Kit
Comp0=Bundled Wooden Arrow Shafts
Comp1=Field Point Arrow Heads
Comp2=Set of Wooden Arrow Vanes
Comp2=Large Groove Nocks
Now I don't use ini files much, so maybe I have it in the wrong place? It's currently in the same directory as the macros.
