Really, this has been on the test server for weeks and there is a giant thread on the eq forums about it. Further more, it was in the patch notes.
Everquest no longer receives full spawn information for the entire zone.

I'm sorry that the patch message / bajillions of forum threads do not appear on the inside of your anal cavity to make for easy reading.Light Knight wrote:The users on this board are some of the most knowledgeable, but bitter, petty, bitches I've ever seen.
Not everyone is god's gift to computers and programming.
Yes I know it was in the patch messages, but not everyone reads it.
How simple would it be to respond, "Sony has changed how the client side displays/reports NPC's in the zone (and PC's for the matter). That they don't become visible, until they are within 600)"
Simple, but no, everyone seems to be under the thought, well Im uber, I dont have time to answer a question, instead, I'll make time to be an ass.
And? Did it hurt anyone for the question to be posted, does it hurt anyone to answer for the 1,003,203 time?Except we have said that at least 20 times, and people just keep asking.
Interesting concept..posted in the HELP ForumI'm sorry. You must be mistaking us for people who's job is to provide you with answers. That is not the case here or anywhere else in life. Every single subscriber to this forum is of equal standing, we are all peers. There is no one better then the next.
I don't believe I requested a response from anyone...So, if its a waste time, you chose to waste it.If you are going to waste my time with a topic that has already been hashed and rehashed 50 times already, I am going to waste your time with meaningless banter.
You might have to repatch the game completely to get the fix for it.... I had to remove all my old eq files then dig through endless piles of crap to find my cds then load them up again, patch for another hour or so all the stuff that's been updated within the last few months had finished loading.... I finally fixed the problem by paying attention to the threads here and reading all my patch notes.
Is that not a question? Isn't your point that all questions should be answered in a civil fashion? Did I not answer your question directly?Light Knight wrote:And? Did it hurt anyone for the question to be posted, does it hurt anyone to answer for the 1,003,203 time?
