Hey i play a bard, and i wish for a macro that constantly right clicks either the chest or boots (separate marcro for both) and it'll stop when i push a second key.
Example, i just got a sorrowsong boot, and i want it to keep casting until the mob dies(annoying to keep right clicking). So every 10 secs, the macro will right click for me, and when i push enter the macro auto ends.
Think somebody can write something for me? I need it for my sorrowsong boots, which has a cast time of 7 seconds
and my ss bp, which has a cast time of 6
Perhaps a macro which is programmable for how many second delays before right clicks?
Thanks a million to anybody who replies/helps.

People mistake (not wholly unreasonably given the title) this forum for a place you write a request for SOMEONE ELSE to write you a macro.
What it actually is, is an extension to the Macro Help folder, in that we'll HELP YOU write YOUR OWN macros, and correct your mistakes when you have problems.

Maybe this forum should be deleted or renamed. maybe Macro Ideas would be a better name.

My mistake, i thought it was just request.
I've seen a lot of fulfilled request and didn't think otherwise.
damn, where do i even begin to learn how to program this thing

Easy. Picka short macro. Look at it and reference the commads in the readme.html. Work out what it does and how.
I woudl suggest you look up /mouseto, /click, and /delay for a start, look at /goto cause youll need a loop. Then just experiment.

Also...be sure to be running these in oldui..although some features do work with newui..if you're new to this thing..it'll just cause a lot of confusion and problems
I personally like oldui 8x6 res. its small..but it seems to never screw up there so its my default :)

Just to get you a jumpstart.
Make a hotkey for your items by holding down left click on it. then dragging it to the hotkey box
make 2 macro's that loop. use /press "hotkeynumber" /delay and /goto
To end the macro's i just have another hotkey with /endmacro in it. Depending on what your doing you might have to press it a few times.

No, that is exactly what this forum is for. This forum is a place for you to write a request and for someone else to write your macro. If you don't like that then don't browse this forum. This is not an extension of anything.
