Robe Illusion

Post by eqaussie » Thu Oct 07, 2004 4:01 am

I play a Human Monk, and a Gnome SK, both of which i like to Robe illusion them in.

This process is somewhat tiresome, and somedays i couldnt be fudged doing it.

What does this involve?

1) Equip Robe in chest slot
2) Cast non PC Illusion (AoN or A Ball of Golem Clay)
3) Re-Equip Robe
4) Click off Illusion

Viola, my monk or sk appear to be wearing a robe.

I cannot code my way out of a paper bag, my attempt at doing this, crashed MQ more than even id care to admit.

Would be nice to be able to detect which illusion item you have too, so it could be easily used by multiple toons without change.

Stupid little thing, but fun too :D

heh I love using illusion tricks. It's pretty easy to do with macros... here's one way to do it:

Code: Select all

#include spell_routines.inc

Sub Main
   /declare robeName string outer <robe name here>
   /declare illusionItem string outer Amulet of Necropotence
| ... rest of your code here
   /call RobeIllusion
| ... more code
/return

Sub RobeIllusion
   /declare oldBP string local
   /call ClickOffIllusion
   /call EquipItem "${robeName}|chest"
   /varset oldBP ${Macro.Return}
   /call Cast "${illusionItem}" item 5s
   /call EquipItem ${oldBP}
   /call ClickOffIllusion
/return

Sub ClickOffIllusion
   /declare i int local
   /for i 1 to 20
      /if ( ${Me.Buff[${i}].Name.Find[illusion:]} ) /notify BuffWindow buff${Math.Calc[${i}-1].Int} leftmouseup
   /next i
/return
