I was just thinking to myself tonight, 'Man, it would be great if there was a force feed macro or plugin'. I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything; so I figured I'd throw it out here to see if its even possible.

Untested, should work.
Code: Select all
|Feedme.mac
|This macro eats food and drinks drink
Sub Main
/declare myfood string local Iron Ration
/declare mydrink string local Water Flask
/declare stuff string local
/declare mypack string local
/declare myslot string local
:mainloop
/varset stuff ${If[${stuff.Equal[${myfood}]},${mydrink},${myfood}]}
|Check for junk on the cursor
/if (${Cursor.ID}) /autoinventory
|find the food/drink
/varset mypack ${FindItem[=${stuff}].InvSlot.Pack}
/varset myslot ${FindItem[=${stuff}].InvSlot}
|if it's in a bag, open it
/if (${mypack}) {
/if (!${Window[${InvSlot[${mypack}].Name}].Open}) /nomodkey /itemnotify ${mypack} rightmouseup
}
:WaitForBagOpen
/ctrl /itemnotify ${myslot} leftmouseup
/if (!${Cursor.ID}) /goto :WaitForBagOpen
|put the stuff in a backpack slot
/nomodkey /itemnotify pack1 leftmouseup
|eat/drink it (or try to)
/nomodkey /itemnotify pack1 rightmouseup
|put the pack that used to be there back, if any
/nomodkey /itemnotify pack1 leftmouseup
|clear the cursor again, just to be cool
/autoinventory
/delay 10s
/goto :mainloop
/return
Brute force enough for you? :)
edit: got tired of posting fixes off the top of my head and actually ran it once to make sure it works

What would be the point of this macro? Kinda curious.

You don't know what force-feeding is?
Scary.

I know you can right click to eat food and get it so you cannot eat anymore but what is the point? You auto eat food when you need it.... so I kinda don't see a point to it.

Some food has stats. If the food's in your top slot, you get the stats from it. If you're full of other food, you don't actualy eat the stat food.

Awesome macro. Question though. If I have the target food and drink in main inventory, and use this macro, it puts the target food and drink on my cursor, then appears to try to eat/drink, and when it fails it then autoinventories it. If its in a main inventory slot I dont want it to go on the cursor, just try to eat it. What would I change to do that?
EDIT: Actually nm, I figured it out.

It goes to the main cursor for less than 1ms and then tries to eat it. If you're packs are full, it tries to eat it. It handles both possible extremes without a lot of extra code.. You even get a refreshing clickie sound to let you know it's working...is this such a huge problem with a macro I winged out of my ass in 3 minutes on a lark? Add your own gay enhancements and then post it in a new thread claiming the entire thing was your own. I don't mind, I promise. :)
