Question about referring code to "yourself" instea

Post by Draekz » Wed Oct 02, 2002 11:30 pm

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not there was a way to check your OWN class and race. I looked in the textpad syntax file thing and didnt notice a command that referred to yourself except for "me".

So my question is, if i type

Code: Select all

/if $me(bard)=="TRUE" /target Ganger /cast "Cinda's Charismatic Carillon"
/delay 5s
/goto :restofcode

Would that work? Or is there a different command to check what your own race/class is? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Im using this for tradeskill macro's and would like to cast the faction booster before i start trading (cuz i havent a few times and LOST money because my faction was so low hehe)

Thanks in advance :)

Actually, you want something more like

Code: Select all

/if "$char(class)"=="bard" {
   /cast "Cinda's Charismatic Carillon"
   /delay 50
}
or somesuch.
I am orc pawn, hear me yell for centurians...
