Ok I have question on commands that I have seen referenced in some of the scripts here on the forums and wanted to confirm something before I went off and broke my scripts.
I have seen the reference to:
/echo msg text here
I am assuming this is a feature that is not documented in the readme since I could not locate it and no one seem to reference it directly when I searched the forums. I am also assuming that this output is sent to the client only and not logged. For logging I would need to use /mqlog text here.
I also saw a reference to:
/beep
Is this a true command or was it filler for a script? If this sends a beep that would be great!
Sorry for the newbie question just looking for some confirmation.
Thanks

/echo <text> just sends the <text> to the chat window, it also gets logged in the EQ logfile (not the mq one)
/mqlog just outputs to the mq log file
and /beep does just do a beep but it is a bit laggy since everything stops for the duration of the beep.

There is a /beep?
Can this be added to the documentation?
I live and die by the readme.html.

/beep currently makes the onboard speaker beep. So, yeah, with that disabled you won't hear it...
I am orc pawn, hear me yell for centurians...

Is /echo in the latest docs? I did not see it in the readme, that is why I asked about it also.
Thanks
