Post by Nixxon5000 » Sun Sep 22, 2002 11:14 pm

i have tried afew macros, using old ui of course, but i cant get any to work. do the bags have to be in specific locations, with specific items in the bags or something? i know you can move them around your screen, so i think thats probably it, mine arent where they are supposed to be. im trying to do the patty melt macro mostly, but i just cant get it to work! obviously, im new here, any help is appreciated

I posted something similar in reply on my pattymelt macro thread, I believe what your problem is, is when you are trying to use your macro, you have your combining bag overlaping your inventory, that or you are opening your combining container, ( brewer, spit, fletching kit, ect ), you are moving the window, or you don't have your combining container in the last spot of your inventory (first spot work sometimes too), OR you have another bag in addition to your combination one opened at the same time, see if that helps, if not post again and Ill try to go into a bit more depth. Sorry for the huge run-on sentence. :)

It really depends on the script...but most of the scripts want the combining kit etc in slot 7

Again..depends on the script and how you code things..

The problem was I was running it in fullscreen mode. It has to be in the tiny lttle 1/4 of your screen thing. Great macro, 178-191 baking in about 30 min!

I ran into a problem running a tradeskill macro on my old computer, my video card (geforece2 mx) wasn't capable of displaying any of the high res modes properly. I had to run it in the lowest res bordered mode to get it to work, full screen made it jump, spin, and just freak out in general. I have to use EQW in order to even get the game to display on that machine for some goofy reason. Some of the trouble with running these types of macros might be due to screen resolution. I noticed that the higher resolutions displayed things abnormally on my old computer and the macros wouldn't respond right. /shrug
