Im working on a macro to /camp then arrow down a couple slots and reenter as another character.
What im comming up with is the first line that arrows down on the character select screen selects the next character down and proceeds to login that character.
I think eq sees each line with an enter after it?
like this
/press down
/press down
/press down
/press down
/press enter
can i write this like this
/press down /press down /press down /press down
Will that make it work? I have to go out for a bit and will try again. Just wanted to get some more experienced info. This is my first attemp at macroing.
thanks

I don't know if MQ starts working till you're actually in EQ (Not char select, but in the actual game.)
Worth a shot...

if it did work that would be running a macro while zoneing and is not a good idea but may still be worth a shot...

In the past /camping out then delaying then pressing enter would reenter EQ ... not sure if that still works..

I'm planning to implement this myself, the idea would be something like ..
/logoutandlogin( 2, "continued.mac", 1 )
/logout would /sit, /camp and wait for the character select screen..it would log in the character as indexed (first parameter) and when we zone in it would run which macro (second parameter) we specified with a parameter for the new macro to let our newly logged in character what it's doing (the third parameter).

MQ is loaded at the character select screen... So this might work...
You can't delete your characters with just the up/down and enter keys...

I think if you use a pause after you start loading the character it might keep from getting your stuff deleted. Its when MQ is sending commands to the server while your zoning thats deleting all your stuff
would it be possible to look for the words LOADING, PLEASE WAIT! then do a /pause or delay 400? Thats a slow zone time, but seems it might be helpful

you could allways make an eent with "you have entered" or what ever it is when you enter a zone and maby one with "LOADING..." and have it pause untill the other
:Loop
/echo Kupo!
/goto :Loop
