Cheese.mac go faster?

I was thinking about the factors involved to make cheese.mac run faster.

I can think of a few variables, but I'd like to know for sure how much they affect the speed of cheese.mac

system speed. ie more ram, faster computer
system connect. ie dsl, modem, etc
system video card. ie gforce 2,3 voodoo3 etc

That's about all I can think of that might affect the speed of the macro.

Running at 800x600 with all graphics options turned down, and a 56k modem connection, I got 160pp an hour. My character has 135 in baking and 100 wisdom, 146 cha and is a level 4 enchanter.

Can any of you help me to make me make more pp an hour? Or, will I just plainly have to get a better connection?

BTW, to the creators of macroquest. This is what I've been looking for all my eq life! This is probably the best thing to hit EQ since seq!!!! (and that's saying a lot SEQ IS AWESOME). I'd like to keep our userbase tight and small. Idiots will ruin a good thing. So, I'm doing my best to not be an idiot.

i wouldn't complain about speed, i have everything, if not more of what you stated and i used to get 80pp an hour

now i'm upto 150pp but i wouldn't go out and buy new hardware unless i needed it for other reasons.

note* the change to 150 was because i got some +CHA stuff and its 107 now (was 75)
and i agree with the bottom statement, this is too good a thing to ruin by mass production :)

Speeding up cash flow...
1) Better connection speed.
2) Better CHA / faction.
3) maybe a better system if you get video lag sitting in that spot

How to get the most out of your Cheese.mac:

1) Spend a little cash to get +Cha gear, 135+ CHA will maximize your profits regardless of faction

2) Add a line in Cheese.mac before "/call MakeCheese" in Sub Main that says " /face loc -100,1167" <-- this faces you to the wall, dropping video lag as low as possible

3) Make sure your clipping plane is all the way down

4) Disable sound effects

I'm running on an 800mhz system with 8mb of video memory (Work PC) and still average around 236pp/hour.

Actually you only need indifferent faction + 110 CHA to get best price.
