Map oddities

I don't know if this was something in EQ, or MQ, but when I was in PoK today, and when I zoomed my map all the way out, all the dots (representing both mobs and PCs) became so tiny I could hardly see them. If I zoomed in one size, then everything was fine. Wasn't like this in FV, DL, or the Bazaar. Also tried logging in as a different character, and the same thing happened.
