Lack of window

Post by Migenzo » Fri Apr 30, 2004 8:35 pm

Indeed I am a new user, I have read all the various documentation before posting here, but I can't seem to find a fix. The main MQ window isn't appearing, and the /plugin MQ2ChatWnd command isn't doing anything, nor do any extra item infos appear in item windows... I can, however, still target anything, and doing something like a "/who ranger" feeds the information to the non-existent window, it doesn't go into my main window.

I probably missed something stupid, please do not ridicule me overmuch :(

Your window is probably open, just off the screen

So how do you get those windows back on screen? I am having that problem with tradeskill containers also.

Those (the locs) are stored in a file somewhere iirc.

The file with the UI locs is in your EQ directory and is named like: UI_<char name>_<server name>.ini

e.g. ( UI_Myname_someserver.ini )

You can either update the coordinates yourself or just delete the file and let EQ recreate it. Deleting it will result in all the default window settings (e.g., fade, locked, etc.).

Migenzo did this fix your problem?

I just recently started running MQ again and I am having the same lack of window problem.
