MQ Window

Post by desnts » Wed Mar 17, 2004 9:17 am

is there anyway to just turn it off completely? i mean when u log on the window isnt even there and the MQ stuff just filters into one of your other chat windows?

i read the /filter MQCHAT off from the sticky but the window is sill there. i would rather just have the 2 windwos i have 1 for chat 1 for melee and put MQ into one of them.

I know this has been anwered before because i have found this before and was able to turn it off, well i have been a few months and not useing it now that i recompiled MQ i cant seem to find where to turn it off. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unload the chat window plugin, load the mq2chat plugin.

This was the absolute worst thing you could possibly ask.

Here's what the download page says:
We have a new version of MacroQuest that is replacing the original, as of now the project is called "MQ2"
After you have read the information on MQ2, which you will NOT be able to compile without reading first, download it here:
MQ2 Latest Source Zip
DO NOT DOWNLOAD WITHOUT READING THE ABOVE LINK. IF YOU DO NOT READ, YOU FORFEIT YOUR PRIVELEDGE OF FREE SUPPORT.
Note the part that I put in red.

Here is the link to what you were supposed to read:
http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5371

Here is the SPECIFIC PART you should have read to get this answer:
If you don't want to use the chat window plugin, you can use the default chat plugin (or both).
/plugin mq2chat
loads the default chat plugin
then you can
/plugin mq2chatwnd unload
and you're good to go.
