Crash to Desktop

Downloaded the newest version from the website today and recompiled.

Now I'm getting CTD's every time I try and select a character. Things I've done:

1) I'm using the mapfix from Grimjack as the only 3rd party plugin but I've disabled it in the macroquest.ini

2) I've tried two different accounts and a high level vs a low level character same results

3) Changed from mq2chatwnd to mq2chat in the ini file.

4) Redownloaded the Zip and Recompiled

5) Repatched.

I'm not running GoD if that makes a difference, it's the only expansion I haven't installed yet.

Any suggestions?

Rename the bmpwad8.s3d file in the MQ folder to bmpwad8.s3d.old, then see if you still bomb.

MQ2 Custom splash screen went away, (still get the MQ2 message on the loading bar) and still CTD when trying to load a character.

Figured it out. When I remove mq2labels from the ini file the CTD's stop. Someone in IRC suggested that it's because I haven't installed GoD yet.

Getting the occasional CTD myself.. I do have GoD installed. not sure what is causing it yet. .. it's not a everytime occurance.

I've raided EP gods, and xped and grouped for HOURS with what's on cvs right now without any bugs/crashes whatsoever.

I CTD also on character select

using the latest zip. Even with mq2labels not loaded I still crash. I dont have GoD yet.

Seems the DPS pluggin was my demon. It looks like it's the realtime DPS window, when I get added to it, I CTD. I unloaded MQ2Dps and no more CTD.

Welp, I don't have GoD, don't plan on getting it. Grouped for a few hours, put up my mule for a few more in the Bazaar, then grouped again for a few hours.. No CTD.
