how hard is it to create a macro for the new tradeskill window to hit combine and autoinventory over an over...
I've been trying but I really don't know what i'm doing...
Code: Select all
| [combine.mac]
|
|
| Open tradeskill window
| Select recipe
| Start combining
| Designed by: Orion711
| 02-12-04
Sub Main
:combine
/click left tradeskill Combine
/delay 40
/click left tradeskill Auto-Inventory
/delay 5
/goto :combine
/return
Anyway, I don't claim to know what i'm doing...this is where i left off .... I kept looking at others code but i just couldn't seem to get it done..i tried various things also...anyway if anyone wants to try to make this work plese do so.

IMHO the new tradeskill window is not for MQ users..
Why use it?
Just open the bags, choose Experiment and start the macro... MUCH faster )))

The only reasion I think the new tradskill UI might be better is It would remove mouse clicks for combines, so it would be faster...
I haven't tested this at all yet though.

For something that has alot of clicks it prolly is faster....it takes about 4 seconds to do and the mouse only travels up and down from one button to another....not from bag to bag then to combine and then to auto inventory...i use the khits mac for most tradeskills and usually create my own recipes for things not in the recipe.ini file.
However I still see an advantage to having the option of opening a tradeskill window selecting your recipe and letting the macro click combine and auto-inventory. It's just a suggestion and it's not something that sems to terribly difficult to do. I'm still trying to figure it out.
I'm sorry i don't know how to do it though. I'd like to figure it out and be able to post it to the depot but I'm just now learning and everyone has to start somewhere. =)

It's probably just some missing references in loactions.txt.
I thought I saw another thread somewhere about this.

Add this to your locations.txt file:
Code: Select all
[tradeskill_combine]
UILabel=TradeskillWnd
XMLFile=EQUI_TradeskillWnd.xml
ScreenID=CombineButton
[tradeskill_auto]
UILabel=TradeskillWnd
XMLFile=EQUI_TradeskillWnd.xml
ScreenID=AutoInvButton
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, but most of them stink.

Position mouse over the click button and fire away.
Why bother traveling the mouse between buttons? Faster and simpler to just /autoinventory. Less clicking, too.
Multiple /autoinventories are there for combines with multiple returns. For example, bear fillets: you get back the fillet, and the fillet knife.
Code: Select all
|Click.mac, simple click macro for the new tradeskill UI
|Tossed together and tested by seph_yaro
#event Missing "You are missing"
sub Main
:click
/click left
/autoinventory
/autoinventory
/autoinventory
/delay 1s
/goto :click
/return
