also with $target(pet) and $spawn(NameOrId,pet)

$target(pet) always = 0

$spawn(CharName,pet) always = 0
$spawn(CharID,pet) always = 0

Did you update your ACTORINFO struct like I said?

I logged in and $char(pet) worked just fine with the new ACTORINFO I posted. I didn't test the others, but I think they work off the same principle.

well , ok . in fact after recomp AND launched the NEW vers. , effectively the 3 commands will resond properly
