Way to superwho or seperate (on the map) *trap* mobs??

Post by nightgod » Wed Feb 11, 2004 2:12 pm

In alot of places, *trap* mobs are now being used as triggers for spawns. The most obvious I can think of are the "guys" for PoEarth (ie: muddite guy, vine guy, stone guy, dust guy) that spawn after the named are killed and despawn when the named are available to be triggered again. Since they are traps, /who npc doesn't work on them, and since they are stacked RIGHT on top of each other, they are very hard to visually distinguish when more than one is up.

Am I missing something obvious or is this something to be submitted as a request to the devs?

Good question... it would be nice to be able to see those on a /who npc... perhaps we can take something from SEQ for that query...

Older MQ versions used to show the [Invisible Man Warrior] type mobs with /who npc, but the newer ones don't anymore. Is there some type of command to show those again or they were permanently taken out of the /who npc? I would like to be able to see those again if someone can tell me how.

try using the search button up top... there's a post that has all this about the PoEarth rings and tells how to get the NPCs to show again.
