I don't see it in the manual but does MQ2 gather all spell information?

The particular piece of information I need is whether or not the spell is beneficial or detrimental.

If that particular information isn't gathered I'll post in the appropriate forum.

Something like:

$spell("Wind of Marr",type)

is what I'm looking for.
