Strangeness

Post by wassup » Wed Nov 12, 2003 9:03 am

OK, my trader apparently got kicked while I was sleeping. I was at log on screen when I checked this morning. So I log back on, and as soon as I log my trader back in I get an eqgame.exe error (with MQ running).

I restart EQ and my eqgame.exe gets patched. Strangely it has the same timestamp as the previous one, but my firewall catches it as a new exe that I need to give permissions to access the internet.

Was helped doing an md5sum on each of them and they matched. It just bothered me that my firewall caught the new exe as a new application.

Did this happen to anyone else last night?
