I just downloaded this program tonight, and I am having some difficultys. First, I read on a post that when the game starts up, a message should pop up in the chat window saying MQ has loaded. This is not happening. I have tried running the program from both my eq directory as well as a generic directory. No success on either. I am using MQ-20020726 thats July 26th's version. I have also tried to type /filter macros all but it does not bring up any of the MQ macros. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I have the same problem. It doesnt appear to load inside EQ. The systray icon is there. I did extract files from zip. Any ideas to make this work is appreciated.

I extracted all the files from the zip file. I placed the files in c:\program files\everquest which added two folders for macros and logs. I checked and my macros are in my macros folder and the rest of the files were copied to the above directory. My log folder is empty atm.
I was using the new AI until I loaded this program. I had read there were a few problems so I turned the new AI off.
Thanks again for the replys.

download this, and extract it to wherever your macroquest was extracted to. It contains the new offsets that work with the last patch.

L124RD,
That link doesn't work either. I seem to have the same problems after loading the new offsets in the other day.

*edit* Decided that perhaps a fresh install would work for me....so I trashed MQ on my puter and downloaded anew. Have the new offsets, and everything is running smoothly, other than NOT getting the message saying MQ has loaded when I start EQ up. I'm using the OLDUI, and have tried running in EQW and without EQW. Not sure what's up. Any suggestions?

OK....did some peeping about, after trying the /filter macros all (didnt' work). Also did hours and hours (ok...about 2.5hours) of searching on the boardz (which provided me with some great info about the program and clarified alot of vague stuff in the readme). But I still have the problem.
Everything I have, including the new IRC are current as of the last patch. I'm not getting any error when I run MQ. But just this morning (after getting some sleep) I've noticed that MQ is in the systray when I click/run it, but once EQW gets going, MQ is dumped out of the sys tray (also confirmed this with TaskMgr). Any ideas?
I appriciate the help guys!

Well, I"m not sure what the heck is going on. Nothing worked. I downloaded everything again and installed it on my other puter. Same settings (just a lil slower). I didnt' do anything different on the other puter, but things work just fine. I am a bit clueless about writing my own macros....so I'll be asking for help on that - but I'll be looking around and studying up a bit before I resort to that.
Thanks for your help again guys.
