Odd Cursor Problem
When I log in to EQ with MQ running I get a second mouse cursor appearing in the middle of the screen. All click operations then happen at this spot only. None of the /click commands then work. All they do is left or right click in that one spot!! any ideas what the problem may be ?

.. and download MCasper.exe. The only thing it does is move the cursor to the top left corner of the screen for one minute; which effectively hides it in game. You'll basically need to take auto-start off the EQ patch program for this. Launch EQ - as normal, after patching click "Play" and then click the shortcut you made on your desktop to this exe.
Since you won't be able to use your mouse during the log-on phase. Simply use standard windows navigation keys to select your options. For example: At the EULA hit tab and then the space bar to select "Accept", hit enter or esc to buypass the splash screens before the FMV, hit enter to get to the log-on screen and hit enter at the server select screen.
Once you're at the character select screen the EQ client uses DI so you can then use your mouse again.
