Problems with GUI not displaying after death

Anyone have a problem with the GUI in the OLD interface NOT refreshing after a death?

I ran the NewLevel.mac watched it run around for a while. Died, and started the Loading please wait.... screen. Watched on ShowEq and the entire zone popped while the screen stayed at the death screen.

??? any thoughts?
