Crash to Desktop when using / npc

Okies I just DL the new build. I started MacroQuest then ran EQW. When I get into the game and begin play I see the usual stuff and then MacroQuest is working notification. I do / npc as a test to make sure. I go to do it again just to see if I get the same results and I crash to desktop can anything be done with this cause I am kinda hesitant to try somethin else until I know whether or not I should continue using Macro Quest. Or should I wait until the next build after this mornings system wide patch scheduled to become active in less than 10 minutes from now?
