Another targetting question

ok in a script I am wokring on I am trying to target a mob named Micon but in the same zone there is mob named Miconius. The problem I am having is when I do a /target Micon it always target Miconius instead of Micon. I have been dwelling on this and have tried several ways to fix it but have yet to come up with a solution that works...Anyone have any words of wisdom for me?

try putting it in quotes? /tar "Micon"?

Can't remember how i got around that, it coulda been that way

Or, you could always get the spawn Id of miconis and then /tar micon notid <spawnid of miconis> and see if that works

If both "Micon"s are different levels, you could always

/target micon range 58 58 (assuming he was lvl 58)

Another option is to add it to the alert list. And limit target to noalerts.

/alert add  1 Miconius

and

Code: Select all

/target noalert 1 npc Micon
