Alert for Named Spawns

I know about the /alert add 1 ___ command , but i have not figured out yet what it does.. how do i for instance add an alert for emperor Ssra or something, and something tell me as soon as he spawns?. I need this command for camping named spawns in ME for Shard. So i need to be able to add 5 or 6 alerts.. thanks for your help.
