rc.exe?

Latest CVS, VS6, everything is downloaded correct... again to my knowledge but on compile get the error of..

Compiling resources...
Error spawning rc.exe

macroquest.exe - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)

can't figure out whats up.. "rc.exe" comes up with nothing in the search that I've seen would help, and no luck on google either.. any ideas?

There was an Italian who had this problem who solved by reinstalling VC++, as best I can tell as I don't speak Italian.

1. If you are running win9X, do you add the extra environment space?
2. Can you run RC from the command line (after running vcvars32.bat)?

Yeah, RC runs fine from the command line, WinXP, can't figure out what the problem is since RC is completely runable, vars all setup etc.. VC++ just wont agree with me here, gonna the reinstall of vc++
