Cheese.mac won't execute

Post by Java » Sat Jul 13, 2002 12:12 pm

I downloaded the latest release of MQ, unzipped it. Placed it in a folder in desktop, and Cut/Paste the Cheese.mac into the Macro directory.
I tried simple Macro like the Slap.mac which works, so i went on to try Cheese.mac.
Well, i type /macro cheese.mac <enter>

And i wait.
And i wait.

I don't know what im doing wrong. Am i supposed to be in Fullscreen View,
Window View, Inventory open first, buy my items first?
Spoiled with Windows handling everything for me, maybe im expecting too much.

Please explain what is it i'm doing / not doing.
Thanks.

Salutations,
Full screen view (in eqw if you like) Make sure NONE of the slates for bags and combiner are over the auto equip slot. (you need to be in 800x600 so that the inv isn't the same as the 640x480) I believe the cheese.mac on the forums requires an argument too... yea it does so you need to be calling something like /macro cheese.mac 36000 (will run for 1 hour)

Thank you L124RD :D

Full Screen view
No containers are positioned over the Auto Equip box.
Screen Resolution is 800x600
/macro cheese.mac 36000 (runs for 1 hour)
All works flawlessly..

Now running the macro.. When i am out of Milk, it buys more Milk, then it buys 2 or more stacks of Rennet.
Eventually profits are spent on Rennet .. Inventory fills up with abundance
and i successfully reverse Profit.
When the macro can't buy more rennet it ends.

Any suggestions / fixes / new and improved Cheese.mac (mac and Cheese might give Profit back :P )

Now the Cheese.mac works fine from Making it, to selling it.

But to run correctly, you need to have enough Open Bag Slots.

1 5
2 6
3 7
4 8

This is the order the Bags will be filled. 1 to 8. or 1 to 4 (left side) then 5 to 8 (right side).

I placed 10 slot bags in slots 1,2,3,4,5 and the Mixing bowl in slot 6.
I changed the amount of Milk it buys from 4 to 8 stacks.
I changed the amount of Rennet it buys from 2 to 4.
With 50 slots open, and near 100 percent sucess rate, bags 1,2,3,4 are full, then 1 stack is in bag 5. 8)

Should look into learning how to write this code so i can carry my equipment with me and use less 10 slot bags. This way i could use say 1 (10 slot) bag, and a bowl when im on a run for fast food money or whatever, i could just run in and gain a few gold for buying arrow parts or something.

As it stands now, it has no Open Slot counting and error branches. But i love it anyway.
