$item on enviromentla containers

Post by Zeus » Fri Jun 20, 2003 2:42 am

Was working on this customizable tradeskill macro and I think i ran into some bug. When I use $item with enviro as the second parameter it always returns NULL. It worked fine with inventory bags tho. Not really essential to the macro just needed it to clean it up some and make it faster. Code looked something like this:

Code: Select all

/for v1 0 to 9
   /echo $item(enviro,$v1)
   /echo $item(enviro,$v1,name)
/next v1
Both of those returned null. Maybe was something I overlooked maybe it's a bug, any help appreciated :)

EDIT: Ps doesanyone know the text command to toggle fast item destroy?

This isn't a bug it's just not fixed, and probably won't be in the near future. The offset used to find this info hasn't been found in quite sometime. Many believe that it no longer exists in it's once fairly easy to understand state.

Thanks for the answer :) Workaround works just wanted to check if there was something in there before sneding the mouse to pick stuff *saving time). I don't know jack about offsets however I think it should be somewhere cause client still needs to know if there's something in the container, so you do receive the info from the server. Dunno maybe a diff struct or something; not that important anyway just wanted to get cleaner code :)
