Do any of those hunter macros prioritize spawns? For instance when I was macroing Quillmane, If an escaped gnoll and quillmane both were up at the same time, whatever was closest got killed first.
I don't think it would be any harder than just an If / then statement....
But I'm not much for code any more...

I've notice that there might not be a priority set with the mobs you specify. For example if the "widows" in your script stop re-popping then it will target the "wolves". However if the wolves are a PH for the widows, after a wolf is killed and a widow pops, the script continues going after the wolves. Anyone else notice this? Or is the priority by distance and the wolves just happen to be cloaser? Is there a way to set mob priority?
Aside from that it seems to work great. Thanks for putting it together. I did have to get rid of the titlebar in the Inventory and the Loot menus but that was easy enough.
Thanks,

It picks what type of mob it wants to target based using random number generations every loop. If it fails to get a target then it picks another random number and tries again. It will not pick a target that has a PC near it as well.

To get more of a weighted list (if you wana try to target owlbears more frequently then the ph for example you can add more entries into the array,, like 5 owlbear entries and 1 wolf would make it 5-1 odds that it will target the owlbear fisrt.

This worked pretty good for my situation. Its not quite a prioritized system but more of an odds workaround.
Good luck,

God I hate that horse.
Anyway, if you're using hunter.mac changing GetTarget to this should work:
Code: Select all
sub GetTarget
/target nopcnear $KSRadius npc "Quillmane"
/if $target()!="False" /goto :GotMob
:Aquire
/target nopcnear $KSRadius npc "$a(2,$rand($MobArraySize))"
/if n $target(id)==0 /goto :Aquire
/if $target()=="False" /goto :Aquire
:GotMob
/varset MyTarget $target(id)
/varset TargetDead 0
/varset HasTarget 1
/return
btw, what mobs are you looking for? I can never get that damn thing to spawn.

Using the hunter script... I set alerts for the following
quillmane
escaped
undead
When script ran and all were cleared it sat at
There are no "" in zone for a long time... say close to 30 min. Maybe that is the spawn time. But then when the started spawning I got 2 quillmanes at once!!! Then very shortly after a 3rd quillmane.
1 cloak and 2 pants that time.
Total I have gotten 3 cloaks and countless pants.
