mq not working 4 me

OK- got the source, new offsets, fixed error in compile (on vc6) from console to windows, compile went fine.
when i run mq a blank icon appears in my toolbar, and no mq functions seem to work..
does the latest version still cout 'macroquest is active' in chat window if MQ is working properly?

Unless you have MQ messaging filtered, yes you will see MQ active message.

I don't know what to tell you. Your project might be missing some files, or there is something else wrong in your workspace. I can assure you that MQ works.

Blank icon might be from not including the .rc files when compiling. In the left hand panel of the compiler, where it lists all the files, go to the Resources part and add the .rc files for the appropriate part of the project (eqlib and macroquest).

Check the filters in your macroquest.ini file to see if you are filtering out the activation message. Chances are if you are using the ini file from the source zip things aren't set up the way you want them, but the way the person who zipped up all the source code wants them. I just used the ini file I've been using all along, since the format for that hasn't changed.
