Having trouble going to/open merchant window

Post by buyatradeskill » Thu Jan 23, 2003 12:50 pm

Ok, I'm having alot of trouble getting a simple part of a macro I'm making (I'm new at this) to work. Here is what I need it to do:
1. Walk up to specific merchant (She is close to 2 other merchants)
2. Open up her trade window
3. Buy item (I've pretty much got this part)
4. Walk in a straight line to a specific loc
5. Open door
6. Walk into building
7. Go to merchant to the left of the door
8. Buy item from merchant

I've tried both gotoloc and gototarg routines but I just can't seem to get it to open the NPC's trade window with any consistency. Any help?

I'm going to assume that you're not using /click.....

Look for fippy's core.mac, I think that's the one...it has some sweet subs called things like TargetMerchant and OpenMerchant and BuyItem and SellItem and OpenDoor etc....Some of these may be modifications of Liz's macro kit, but I'm not sure about that one. I know the MK contains runtoloc and many more...have a looksee and go from there.
