GMs and Auto-replies

Post by nazkel » Thu Jan 23, 2003 9:27 am

Seems to me that auto-replys are just another way for a GM to determine if your using a macro. I mean, if you think about it, if you get a tell from a gm A GM tells you "Hello, we have gotten a few complaints that you have been killstealing from "so and so"." You reply "Sorry, can't talk right now camping." Well, first off if a GM gives you a tell and your at the keyboard how often do you camp immedietaly. Now if I was a GM I would have reported the incident and gotten ahold of that person when they log on. if you need to use auto-replies try and make it something believable, don't use the default lines from these forums! bad idea, and if a GM asks you a question your fucked

I usually have this line:

and then camp out.

Salutations,
the MacroQuest forums are NOT the place to talk of AFK macroing. Locked and moved.
