Camp macro / Check for Spawn and then play mp3

Post by Zeltren » Tue Jan 14, 2003 11:52 pm

Well added this little macro as I use it allot on the office, it can be
compined with other options, like SMS your cedullar phone with a perl
script... actuily very usefull... also good so you can head to bed until the
spawn pops...

If someone could make a perl script for it like;
/perl exec email.pl "mymail@mydomain.com" "Message"
I would really appriciate it, havent figured out how to combine
perl with MQ yet, if I do /perl exec helloworld.pl it just returns
error... this is the basic hallo world script I am refearing to.
Would really buy us allot of freetime...

Code: Select all

Peril

I don't know peril, I'm getting tons of ideas from you post.

Funny how RPGs started out as text only...we could control our characters in EQ with Peril and what not.

Funny how we have "de-evolved" the game back to text.

Imagine this... you get a txt message phone call while your in bed asleep "I'm being attacked Sir", you send text message back "Run bitch run!"

You can even set it to play certain mp3s... if you add your own playlist or create one with a macro..

Code: Select all

/mp3 clear
/mp3 add c:\file\dir\here\filename.mp3
/mp3 add c:\file\dir\here\filenameA.mp3
/mp3 add c:\file\dir\here\filenameB.mp3
/mp3 add c:\file\dir\here\filenameC.mp3
/if $alert(1)==TRUE {
 /mp3 play 1
}
^^Obviously not real code just an example.
