Dropping things into inventory with New UI?? Possible??

Post by quasit » Sun Jan 05, 2003 1:24 am

I am trying to prepare for the impending bomb dropped on us all. I would like to drop things from my cursor into inventory. Can this be done without clicks. With old ui, if you have something on your cursor, and get another item doenst it drop into inventory automatically?? Or does it drop it on the ground?? Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

Q
Short answer NO

Long answer. Some things will build a "stack" on your pointer, ie if you forage and forage and forage and forage all those things will be in your hand. You put one down the next one you foraged goes into your hand.

However, summoned items do not have a "stack" if anything is in your hand at the time it is summoned poof gone forever. ie If you summon a piece of bread then another then some water all you will have is your first pice of bread that you summoned. (same with those expensive imbue'd gems)
