Fish.mac & Brell's Companion

Post by Draekz » Thu Nov 28, 2002 12:30 am

Hey I was wondering if anyone would be able to think up an example bit of code that i could implement into fish.mac so that it would right click my "brell's Companion" box to summon the fishing pole (if mine breaks) then click it into prim slot.

For the life of me, i've been gone too long and cant think of a way to right click an inv item :S

Thanks for any help

#event "Your Fishing Pole Breaks" or whatever...
/if $event==1 /goto clickie

sub clickie
/press i
/mouseto invslot etc
/click right
/delay 8 (cast time)
/return

assuming it never fizzles as a clickie item...

Of course...I could be a jackass.

ahh right thanks :)

actually i tried

Code: Select all

/click right inv slot 8
and that didnt work (only right clicked FIRST inv slot) and tried pretty much every combo i could think of..so instead i just put the box in first inv slot and did this:

Code: Select all

/if <blah blah etc> {
/click right inv slot
/delay 10s
/click left equip primary
}else /if <blah blah etc>

That seems to work..but still dunno why i cant tell it which inventory slot to click :s

Anyway thanks for info ;)

Here's what the readme says..."/click <left|right> <mouseloc>
Clicks the left/right mouse button
mouseloc is the same format as /mouseto"

which means you need to know your mouseloc....try checking in the cheese.mac script to see how lizard targets positions, I really don't know. I was thinking that you could also do it with the find item routine like the cheese.mac file uses...just have it look for it...

Anyhoo, I'm too lazy to check it, but have a look at cheese and see how it does it, item finding I mean.

Code: Select all

/click right inv 0
to

Code: Select all

/click right inv 7
should work... inventory slots start at 0. "slot" converts to a value of 0, which is why that clicks your first inventory slot.
