Ok. With your superior wisdom and linguistic skills, you've convinced me to stop using MQ2.blackpower wrote:STOP RUINING THE GAME YOU FUCKING HOMO EQ1 WAS NICE UNTIL IT WAS FILLED WITH EVERYBODY USING MACROQUEST 2 FUCKING BUMS

Not to defend this silly person, but I wholeheartedly believe that a legitimate player has every right to be angry and show disdain on someone who cheats. After all, regardless of whether or not we (well, MQ-using EQ players) have any direct impact on a person, we do undoubtedly have an illegitimate advantage. Sure, we can hide behind a justification that we're just enjoying a game that we've lost interest in, but that doesn't make it morally right. Given the nature of EQ, the fact that it is a persistent world and our actions affect everybody (be it directly or indirectly), one is absolutely incorrect in assuming that he/she is not acting immorally, in any situation, when granting themselves abilities or knowledge that is unavailable through conventional gameplay. One must accept the fact that, in a black and white picture of right and wrong, cheating is always the latter, regardless of the angle. EverQuest is indeed only a game, and should not be taken too seriously, but there is an undeniable difference between playing morally and playing immorally. By using MQ, you're choosing the darker side of the fence, and the opposing faction has every right to be pissed (although LAXBLOWSCOCKERS may be a bit over the line).Fixxer wrote:Ok. By the way, I have some property in Arizona to sell, with a nice Ocean front view. It's a steal of a deal if you care to take advantage of the opportunity.
On a more realistic note, let me remind you that EverQuest is just a game. Yes, that's right... a GAME... Get a life man, and just because you have a stick up your ass that prevents you from enjoying EverQuest, doesn't mean you have the right to come here and pass judgement on those who have found a way that they can enjoy it too.
Now go play in highway traffic or something. Buh-bye now.
