MQ Window Spam

Post by MQ_Wannabe » Mon Feb 21, 2005 1:09 am

Dont know if this is the right forum or not, feel free to let me know.

Well, ive written a handy little macro for myself. It works for what its ment to do (not one that should be posted, as it violates the 'rules'), but the MQ2 window is spammed like crazy with lines like

Code: Select all

******.mac @61 <Command line>
******.mac @153 <Command line>
******.mac @261 <Command line>
******.mac @262 <Command line>
******.mac @4 <Command line>
And it just SPAMS that over and over and over and over. And after I hit /endmac, the spam just continues on for like 5 minutes after i cancel the macro.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance

Its an AFK Macro. They are frowned upon here. Id rather ask to see if it was a known problem or if it was somethin in the Macro. The Macro works by the way, it just spam's that window.

I can post it if its really wanted.

it's a macro stack dump from a non-fatal error. Look at it, and one of the commands it uses is incorrect and is dumping the stack. Fix your usage of the command, and you'll be set.

Sucks that you have not given us much to consider. You are getting an error message. That’s all anyone can deduce from your post.

Hrmm, the only thing I can see it being would be a goto from an if statement... Could that be the problem? Other than that, i cant really see where a problem would occur. (I hate logic errors, syntax is so much easier)

You got it!

Yes. It's that goto from an if statement you have. Good catch.
