PVP Tag color change

Post by bongbro » Fri Feb 11, 2005 10:55 pm

I was wondering if anyone attempted ot make a macro that changes the color of peoples tag based on guild affiliation. Originally from a team server i could check who was kos to me based on race color tage, ie darkelf orange, humans blue, shorties purple. Now that everyone is red its alot harder to see whos friend or foe.

I noticed that mq2 will place the con color on mobs and I think this would be nice addition for pvp if we could assign like ally guilds and self guild blue, this definately would help with the clutter of having full tags up to see who I am attacking. Or at minimum have only guild tag showing and not the whole surename first name and second name.

forgive me if this steps out of the bounds of what mq2 should do, just seems that it was something i had when on a team server.

you can edit what your /showname 1 2 3 4 shows in the macroquest2.ini

That would be a good way to make it first anme + guild tag.

not sure about coloring names based on guild.
