Thanks for the tip Gengis, i had actually figured it out... i can get it compiled, but trying to launch eq now crashes when i have MQ running...
oh well, a problem for another day i guess

Likewise, EQGAME crashes before EULA now if MQ is loaded with current CVS compile.

Nah, I just pulled down fresh source, VC6.0 compile, and ran it for two hours.
There is a new eqgame.ini, you know.

Yeah i eventually managed to get it compiled so it doesn't crash eqgame.exe but i crashed as soon as i logged in and tried to do a /who
guess i'll keep trying.. i'm getting close tho huh? :)

Well d'uh...
Used the offsets from the
CVS edition of eqgame.ini and surprise, surprise.. it's works.

Well I'm using MCK source compiled with VS6 and the CVS
eqlib.cpp and
MQ.h
Plus the latest offsets
.. works for me

Some structs don't work correctly with the MCK build, and I have no idea why. All I know is they cause a crash. Must be something in the way I have things optimized, but with all the changes I haven't actually played EQ in a week, just spent time updating source code.
Also, you need eqlib.h in addition to eqlib.cpp and mq.h and the latest offsets.

Everything working great for me with a clean download from cvs, except /char dropped me like a rock.

aye i finally got it all working, thanks to all those who helped...
/char is the only thing that has crashed me
