To tell you the truth, Genbot is (and advbot might be too, but i dont know as much about that) archaic (I'm not saying that it doesnt work, just that it is archaic). It was originally built before the MQ2Data system, which is essentially the predecessor to LavishScript, and Blech. Then it was simply converted, using the older routines, to the new system. While that may not sound so bad in itself, it really is. Most routines can be shortened or redone in a much more efficient way. Additionally, the IS navigation system makes features of advpath and such obsolete.Lacky wrote:I am currently working on making/converting a shaman bot for ISEQ. After that I plan on converting/making a cleric bot which will be one computer worth of chars. Then I will go from there. In and around that I will be working on various scripts for tradeskills and what not. I have yet to play around with genbot or advbot so I would be more than willing to help if you want to through up or pm what you have. You may even get me to use that instead.
Good luck :)

If LavishScript scripts were any closer to MQ2 Macros, the universe would explode. http://www.lavishsoft.com/wiki/index.php/LavishScriptNight Hawk wrote:I'm interested (and have been for a while) in converting most of my scripts and others' that I use, but just haven't looked into it much. I'm mostly interested in the fact that you can have more than one running at a time, unlike macros.
I'd say the only thing stoppin me is that I don't know enough (or haven't seen enough examples) to fully convert somethings, and I'm not even sure about running them. I'm sure it's posted somwhere (which I'll check afterI post this), but I'm not even sure if ISXEQ scripts are ran like macros or compiled
