Salutations,
heh.... I think so... I gave myself 404 messages trying to find it... I think my site is buggy... BTW shell.evilpumpkin.com and evilpumpkin.com are hosted on different servers... the website runs on my fathers linux server and it runs in the basement senseless and headless... My server (hosting shell, and AR for those of you who discovered that 0.o those who haven't I didn't say anything) runs next to my normal comp running just senseless, until I use the KVM switch to go over to start SEQ... the problem was that I accidently unplugged the inet from it when I was unplugging my comp to install a new HD and fix some Video card problems I was having...

Problem with combine.inc?

Post by Mckorr » Sat Dec 21, 2002 5:22 pm

Through together a quick macro to combine 2 Shadeling Silks into one thread:

#include macrokit.inc
sub Main
:Start
/varset a(3,10) "2 Shadeling Silk"
/call Combine Tailoring 10 1
/delay 2s
/goto :Start

Okay. I sit down. Opens my tailoring kit, puts two silks in there

1. Does NOT combine them,
2. Apparently hits escape several times (you no longer have a target, everything closes.)
3. Tells me I must target someone before I can invite them into a group.
4. Opens the sewing kit again. Both silks still in there. Adds another one. Hangs.

Something wrong with combine.inc. It is issuing a /inv (Invite) command, instead of combining.

Yes, using old UI, latest version of MQ, and MacroKit 1.5

Salutations,
turn filters off, tell me what it says, and make sure that macrokit.inc is in your main macro dir while there is the dir MacroKit-1.5 with everything in it. the invite is from it hitting i with the ctrl key down (part of cleanup)

macrokit.inc is in my main macro directory (Macros), with the MacroKit-1.5 subdirectory.

Turning filters off (/filter macros all), I see the error message:

could not find a "

more precisely,

You no longer have a target
You no longer have a target
You no longer have a target
You no longer have a target
Couldn't find a "
You must target a player first to invite to join your group.

It then repeats all that, minus the Couldn't find line. That's when it hangs, with the sewing kit open, and 2 silks stacked in the first spot and one in the second.

Minor caveat

Post by Mckorr » Tue Dec 31, 2002 2:18 pm

Threw together a quick little fighting macro to test this out:

Code: Select all

#include macrokit.inc
sub Main
/alert add 1 "grimling"
/target alert 1
/call Melee
/call AutoLoot 15 1
And got an error message, "subroutine autorun not found".

Adding the line

Code: Select all

#include routines.mac
fixed the problem.

Just wanted to clarify, you still need to include routines.mac

Figured if I was making that mistake there would be others that were too. Now if I can get it to not inlcude corpses in my alert statement...

Still getting an error with combines

Post by Mckorr » Tue Dec 31, 2002 2:47 pm

Code: Select all

#include routines.mac
#include macrokit.inc
sub Main
/varset a(3,10) "2 Shadeling Silk"
/call Combine Tailoring 10 1
This still doesn't work, as described a few posts up. Should combine 2 shadeling silks into one silk thread, but just makes a mess and never combines anything. Looks to be an error in the cleanup routine.

Thanks
