Question about mana on food items.

Post by Nocturo » Mon Dec 02, 2002 4:48 pm

An interesting thing I've noticed is that mana on food items seems to have no effect on /mana. Is it at all possible that MQ somehow doesn't read that, or is it the more probable case that Verant forget to add that in?

Forgive me if this was already posted, I did a search but found no posts mentioning anything similar.

PS- I know I'm 'using' the food correctly. The item I'm testing with adds HPS and other stats, and while my displayed HPS changed, my mana with /mana does not.

They show now effect in ShowEQ on your mana either, noticed this for awhile, but really dont think it would be to smart to /petion SEQ and MQ are showing no +mana effect from food items.

I likemy accounts a little bit ;)

Should be easily testable. Grab one of the high mana foods(aren't Fruit Pies something like 50 mana), toss it on a level 1 with low int, and see how many times they can cast spell X.
