I am running Windows 2000 with peral installed. I downloaded the latest beta version of macroquest and also downloaded the newest info. When I run everquest I get an error which states that my client version is incorrect. I'm am fairly new to the program and have not been able to find anything that I haven't already tried in the forum. I would really appriciate any help.

Salutations,
I would first make sure you have the offsets that are available in the general forum. Just copy them to your eqgame.ini file... I like your spelling of perl better by the way... peral :p its like a combo of pascal and perl 0.o

Salutations,
what does the version number that pops up say, and what does the version number (when i keep saying that i mean date) that is in the ini. DON'T JUSTGET IT OFF THE BOARDS, CLOSE NOTEPAD AND GET IT FROM YOUR EQGAME.INI... oh... and did you restart MQ after putting in the new ini?

Problem solved. Thanks for your help. I feel silly now, I pasted the offsets into the wrong ini. I should have pasted into eqgame.ini. I'm very sorry for waisting your time. I appriciate the help.
