Dragons of Norath beta?

Hey guys. dumb question incoming(you have been warned)...

I am assuming that even with the new patch and all, and mq being all fixed up for that, if we sign up for DoN beta our mq either wont work or will be unsafe.

question is, are you folks going to be working on the expansion beta at this time?

If you sign up for Beta, MQ won't work in there since it has a different executable. It's suggested to actually make a copy of your EQ directory so you have a completely seperate directory for the Beta and you won't have to repatch going between live and beta.

The developers here are often are involved in the betas to have a head start on structs and so forth when the expansion goes live. This helps reduce their development time on major expansion releases on move to production day. It's not feasible for them to maintain a public version of MQ2 during the beta stages since the executable can be updated several times a day.
