Post by david6789 » Sat Nov 23, 2002 7:04 pm

Ok I see the cheese.mac

Do i copy / paste it in and just chance the milk to the item I really want bought and combined?

I want to do fletching but none of the macros I have found will work, any suggestions?

Thanks

The cheese.mac is for making cheese. Using it for fletching would be a PITA. Chunks of the cheese.mac logic could be used, they're used in lots of the other tradeskill macros, but since cheese only has two ingredients and arrows have 4, you're going to have to make some adjustments.

to make cheese.mac work...(We should call this script EasyCheese...or EasyMac, since it's ready to eat (use) out of the box....) you cut and paste it into notepad.

From there, make sure there isn't a space behind the line that says "sub Main"

Save it as cheese.mac (you might have to go to file/folder options and uncheck "hide file extentions from ...") anyway, you save it. Put about 5 plats in your inventory, make sure you have a couple empty backpacks. Get near Granger in Shadowhaven....if you can't find him then you shouldn't be running this macro...and (assuming you have MQ running) then type /macro cheese.

Now it will do its thing. Oh, I forgot to mention that you'll need a dairy spoon and a mixing bowl as well, it doesn't matter where you put them.

If you're using EQW, then ctrl+alt+r BEFORE you type /macro cheese because the pause to exit the winder will stop the macro dead. :) Mine's been running minimized all day, even now.

There were about 5 pages of howto on the original cheese.mac post, but...I'm feeling cheritable. Oh, and this should be in the "Macro Help" section, which is probably where it's going to get bumped.

PS, you can't do other combines, cuz it doesn't buy/sell based on item locations, but rather on their names.
