Making Platinum

I am very new to this, I heard about it ingame... Someone casually mentioned making platinum and the name MacroQuest in our Bazaar channel on EQ1. I started looking around, and found this board... I have been playing the baz for a long time, and made a considerable amount of plat, but is there a way to "Create" it?

As Far as donations go, I have no problem donating for an answer to this question..... Please send me a private message or whatever and I will give you my IM name so we can talk more on the subject.... Thanks

Someone just told me it is frowned up asking questions like these in the forums.... Ok sorry bout that, am a toatl NOOB and want that weapon I have been saving for forever... need 2 mil plat and at this point I have saved 700k *The honest way* hehe..... ok Sorry bout the post guys....

Those are the types of responses you will get from most of the people on this forum because they don't want to let the secret out. What you REALLY need to do is donate large sums of money to the Devs, then you can get access to the VIP:LARGE DONATIONS forum, where you can find out how to do this.

*Edit* The current post in the VIP:LARGE DONATIONS forum says that $100.00 USD is the minimum to get access. Just wanted to let you know before you donated 5 bucks and considered it a large donation.

Today has been a good day so far so I'm gonna give a nice answer.

You can not create platinum(See Note).
You can make platinum using macros.
You can not beg for a platinum making macro.
You can gain access to the VIP section for a donation larger then $10.00 USD.

Note: Techically, you CAN create platinum in Everquest. You can make it so it appears that you have whatever amount of money on your cursor, but as soon as you try to do anything with it you will crash to the server select screen. There is, therefor, no way to actually create platinum.

When asking questions around here, do not mention hacks or offsets. You will only get flamed, and I will tell you to:

But what about the /quickplat command? Admittedly, it only creates 10pp at a time, but it works when you just need a little cash...

/quickplat only converts 10 gold to 10 plat, you soon run out of gold, so it's no good.

Ok, I know that was a flame, but As far as I am concerned it was Funny as Hell! hehe had me lauging pretty good there Warden!

Looking around on the differnt forums though, I see some really facinating stuff, will have to see about getting my baking skill up... Hmmm, what else can I learn in here... Really really neat stuff!

If your paying 2 milion plat for any item in EQ1 at this point in time you have a bigger problem then learning about mq2

a anguish/mpg trials weap, or even that dagger from pyronis would sell for two million. heck, I had someone offer me 2 mill in all seriousness. for a soulskive if I could dig one up. of course, fv is a special server.

I once gave away 700k, BoC, Fungi, and a buncha other crap... Thats when I quit EQ though, Lol.
