question about destroy

Post by disgruntled goat » Wed Nov 13, 2002 5:30 am

I'm having no real trouble with my macros except when it comes time to destroy an item.

/click left destroy does work, in that it brings up a Yes/No box, but then the timer to respond expires and the item is automatically placed into my inventory. Is there any simple way of forcing a destroy without doing /mouseto and coords? To tell the embarassing truth, I'm not entirely sure how I'd go about getting the exact coords that I need or I'd just go ahead and do that.

I'm using the old UI and the 1104 version.

Many thanks for any assistance you might be able to offer. If there's any more info you might need that I left out, I'll be glad to reply with it.

Turn on fast destroy in the options menu.

Just remember you have it on and dont accidently destroy something valuable.

Nevermind. I'm a moron and should have made better use of the search feature before posting. My apologies.

In case anyone else has this problem, the solution is to have "fast item destroy" enabled in EQ.

I found that solution in about 90 seconds after running a search on the word destroy. I feel pretty stupid as a result.

Yes, having auto destroy on would be the solution but would this line of code work too?

/click left destroy yes

thanks
